Paper presented at the annual meeting of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology, Anaheim, CA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Time sensitive pressures were also discussed and I was introduced to a new concept <em>Just in Place<\/em> training, running along <em>Just in Time<\/em>, which giving the sharp rise in mobile technology students will not be in a classrom or at a desk.<\/p>\n<p>We saw a graph for hype-cycle for 2013, see 2012 version below:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.infoq.com\/resource\/news\/2012\/08\/Gartner-Hype-Cycle-2012\/en\/resources\/hype1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These Gatner cycles show how technology in progressing. It is interesting to see how some have been at the start of the cycle for more than 10 years with some\u00a0plateauing\u00a0out at the end in less than two.<\/p>\n<p>Story boarding was also introduced so we can put one together for our group project.\u00a0Persona&#8217;s can help stimulate discussion if required, that is the teacher can set up a couple of dummy student IDs as no one wants to be the first to post.<\/p>\n<p>Claire gave a session about Web 2.0 and commented the web went from read only to read\/write.
